I inquired about a quote for a concrete patio through Yelp, and Angel responded pretty quickly. With the dimensions and description I gave him online, he was able to give me a very competitive quote. When I agreed to sign the contract, Angel came over to view the work area and gave a proposed start and end date over a 3 day span. I appreciated Angel's communication when his current project pushed mine a week behind schedule. No biggie..
On day one Angel came with one crew member and they worked diligently in the heat. They had a rough area to work with consisting of hard dirt and overgrown weeds, but that was no issue for them. They also had to move one of my drain catches with no issues. They got all the framing and base done for the concrete pour the following day. On the third day, Angel and his crew removed the framing and installed decorative rock and cleaned up the work area very well.
I have several other concrete projects in mind and won't hesitate contacting Angel to get the job done!

Angel showed up in the pouring rain on a Friday afternoon to give me his bid. Who does that these days? He assessed the job and gave me a very competative bid on the spot. He and his workers were courtious, kept a clean job site and worked very well together. The job progressed extremely fast and the concrete came out so much better than I could have even imagined. My neighbor and I hired Central Coast & Bay concrete to erect a retaining wall on our property line between our homes. We had at least four other bids before deciding on Central Coast & Bay Concrete. Angel, the companies representative, was prompt and knowledgeable and spoke with confidence. His bid was complete, reasonable and included specific start and completion times. Angel did a good job of communication especially when the Covid 19 restrictions came up and our start time needed to be adjusted.
Once work started, the crew was punctual and worked nonstop until the project was completed. The employees stayed on site each day except lunchtime. Each afternoon the job site was cleaned and made ready for the next day. Angel kept track of the job site and kept us up to date on progress and what to expect.
At the end of the project, Angel made sure we were satisfied and ascertained if we had any issues or questions. Prior to leaving, the entire job site was swept and hosed down including washing down our street.
I would recommend Central Coast & Bay Concrete to anyone interested in a good job done right. My next job involving concrete will definitely start by calling Angel.

I am inherently fastidious about details and still a recovering perfectionist :-) With that in mind, I was surprised to be impressed with the quality of Central Coast & Bay Concrete work product. Angel (owner) was patient during the bid process and change orders and he was present throughout the entire project. They were on-time and on-budget. But most importantly, it is evident that Angel & his team take great pride in their workmanship. Transitions, joints, texture and framing were top shelf and their attention to detail was notable. We had Central Coast & Bay Concrete pour a 19’x13’ pad for a shed/workshop recently, and could not be happier with the results. Specifically:
- Pricing was very competitive. I really received the value I was hoping for.
- Communication was great. Easy communication via text and email to schedule the work, contract done online, and quick responses to any questions.
- The guys really care about their work. The pour was on a Friday, and at 6pm the guys continued to hang around to let the concrete firm up some more to put a final trowel to it. It honestly looked great to me but they wanted to wait to go over the last section one more time, even when I told them they could take off. I was really impressed.
- They took great care with cleanup. The work area was immaculate when they were done, they spread clean dirt against all edges, removed all the scrap, and sprayed down our entire existing patio (even where they did not work). Again, they really cared about their work.
- The final pad is awesome. It is perfectly level, the joints are straight and super pro looking, and the final finish is great. I could not be happier with the result, and almost feel badly that my new shop will cover it!
I am really happy with the work done at my house and will go to these guys first for any project I have. I have already recommended them to close personal friends of mine. Highly recommended!
